Fun at the Amusement Park
What a great summer this has been! We’ve had lots of family fun time and day trips in the area. We’ve had relatives from out of town visit as well which is always a treat. Recently we took the kids to our favorite local amusement/water park and let me tell you… we had a blast. It was a very hot and muggy day so all the water rides we very enjoyable. We went on a weekday so it wasn’t that crowded either. I went in the water and even went on some rides with the kids, which I haven’t done in years.
It brought back a lot of memories of when I was younger and we used to ride the roller coasters all day long. I remember one time when I was a teenager, a friend and I got the front seat on our favorite coaster and we gave the ride operator $20 to let us tay in our seats and keep riding over and over again. People in line weren’t happy, but it was late in the day and we didn’t care. That was a fun day.
